Needed to stop at Ace Hardware to get supplies for Saturday’s Smoke! Picked up B&B Lump Oak, some Kosmos Dirty Bird, Bear & Burtons ‘W’ sauce and 2 Weber Cedar Planks.
On the Weber Smokey Mountain I will be smoking 4 Pork Butts. All are around 8 lbs. I will be do them the Tuffy Stone way with a Worcestershire Mop. Ingredients in the pic. B&B Charcoal with Pecan wood for the ultimate flavor.
On the Weber Summit Beast I will be smoking 2 Turkey Roasts(de-boned and wrapped in a net). They are both approx 12 each. These will take the B&B Oak Lump Hardwood. Turkeys will be dusted with Kosmo’s Dirty Bird & Kinders Butter Rub.
Wondering what the planks are for? Hopefully, we will be using them with some fresh Alaskan Salmon. This is compliments of Greg Biddle’s recent trip to the last state in the union.
